QUIC is a new transport protocol designed to speed up Internet traffic. Originally developed by Google, QUIC has been an IETF standard since 2021 (RFC 9000) and is already supported and preferred by most browsers.
Most likely QUIC already exists in your network. QUIC uses UDP port 443, which is open by default on most firewalls.
This live webinar uses Wireshark recordings to teach you the most important features of QUIC. In addition, Wireshark guru Rolf Leutert goes into the reasons why most network component manufacturers still recommend blocking QUIC.
Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m.
