onway: onway: along with onway – how long have you been on board?
I had the opportunity to start at onway in August 2024.
What tasks does your role include?
I was hired as an Account Manager, though my role goes far beyond just looking after a handful of clients. My work starts with identifying new markets and doesn't end with the completion of a customer project, since ongoing client support is also part of my responsibilities. In between, there’s a wide range of tasks—gathering market information, making first contact with potential clients, understanding their needs, aligning opportunities with our strategy, crafting marketing messages, and attending trade fairs, just to name a few.
What do you particularly enjoy about your job?
I especially enjoy hearing positive feedback from a client after a project is completed. That’s a reflection of the entire team’s effort. On a personal level, I also really value the entrepreneurial experience I gain while working at onway.
Which technologies and topics do you come across in your job?
I’d say pretty much all of them. The first step is always to understand the client’s needs quickly, in order to find the best possible solution. That means constantly learning about new technologies. Broadly speaking, it’s always about connecting A & B in a secure and simple way.

onway: What professional expertise are you bringing to the table?
As a graduate in Business Informatics from OST University of Applied Sciences, I can’t look back on a long professional career just yet. But thanks to an internship at Compass Security, an apprenticeship as a forestry worker, and many years as a scout leader, I’ve already packed quite a full backpack of experience—one that helps me in my work every day and continues to grow.
What are your plans for the future, what do you definitely want to achieve with onway?
I believe that the path onway has taken—solving networking challenges in a simple, pragmatic, secure, and reproducible way—is forward-thinking. I’d love to share that conviction with everyone who’s open to innovative approaches.
Why onway? Working at onway means…
At onway, I get to apply what I learned in my studies with a high degree of autonomy. So onway doesn’t just offer me a job—they offer me a framework to act entrepreneurially, without having to bear the full risk alone, and a space to exchange experiences with other entrepreneurs.
Any final thoughts?
