along with onway – how long have you been on board?

Come 1^st October 2022, I will be marking four years at onway.

What tasks does your role include?

I am the Traffic Solutions Account Manager for the DACH region. In this context, developing new customers in our target markets, as well as maintaining, strengthening and expanding existing customer relationships is a central theme. My varied work covers everything from marketing and sales through to purchasing and project management.

What do you particularly enjoy about your job?

I like to be out and about visiting clients, taking part in trade fairs and events, and I love writing proposals – the bigger the better.

I particularly enjoy helping end customers modernise their IT, save hardware and by extension, also do something good for the environment.

Which technologies and topics do you come across in your job?

I prefer working with the latest IT technology that simplifies our lives. There are so many possibilities, and looking at public transport in particular, it is important to first migrate everything to the latest state of the art, then consider future technologies.

Topics such as routers, access points and switches for the mobile sector are very important to me. This also includes antennas, SIM cards, network cables and the best software in the world.

And it goes without saying that safety comes first.

What professional expertise are you bringing to the table?

I originally trained as an electrician and wired my first network topologies in that role.

I also have twelve years of sales experience in the IT and communications industry under my belt.

Recently, I gained a certificate of advanced studies in digital marketing.

What are your plans for the future, what do you definitely want to achieve with onway?

My goal is to land such a big contract that we can open a company headquarters abroad.

Why onway? To me, working at onway means...

I value working in a flexible SME: varied tasks, short decision-making processes, teamwork and the fact that we can share a beer or play cards together after work.

Any final words?

No matter what the future brings, my biggest hope is for FC St Gallen to be Swiss champions again.
