PWLAN for the Swiss Confederation

As part of a public invitation to tender, the Swiss Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT) was looking for an operator of PWLAN services. Among other things, the tender called for Swiss embassies around the world to be integrated into these PWLAN services.

onway was able to triumph over other bidders thanks to its proven Smart Access products such as mpp, macman and onway director, as these are optimally designed for use across multiple locations covering a wide geographic area. Furthermore, flexibility and delivery capacity were an additional factor in choosing onway. “The bid submitted by onway (schweiz) ag impressed us, both in terms of thoroughly meeting qualitative requirements and an attractively priced offer. It was also the only bid that fulfilled all mandatory requirements […],” states the award confirmation issued by the FOITT.
